BAD MAN PITBULL

The Thicke, the Bad, the Perry and the Barker. No it’s not a new spin on a Clint Eastwood film but a reference to Mr Worldwide’s new song, Bad Man with Robin Thicke, Travis Barker (drummer Blink 182) and Joe Perry (Guitarist Aerosmith). Pitbull continues to shock and surprise with this song and range of talents featured on it.  I dare you to listen to this without bopping your head away or playing the air guitar.

“This is history in the making” Causing more ‘Climate Change’ and set to bring on more 2016
‘disruption’ in the charts as Pitbull crosses genres once again with rap and rock. Running straight in with his rhymes invading your ears and commanding attention with the drums and electric guitar from the first verse with a little reference to those who may no longer enjoy his style of music anymore. “They Say he don’t write no more…They say like Le Bron he ain’t got no heat no more…They say he ain’t  street no more…Like Jay (Z)  Say how SICK am I wish em HEALTH fo’sure!”

Cool with it and acting the fool with it, clearly not bothered by fans-turned haters and focused on growth and success in all forms- pa’lante! And then SLAM! “Went back to one of my own neighbourhoods and build a school in it” which has to be one of my favourite stings in his rhymes. Before going on to thank God,  his mum and Miami. Then a staple on Pitbull songs – his empire and women and telling them to  “come and get it girl” (you heard him Pitbull Girls- please form an orderly line!)

Following Travis Barker on the drums throughout and that guitar bridge three quarters of the way through with Joe Perry- wow!

A good guy at heart but has to be a bad man in an evil world (and a women’s world!). Although a purely ‘old school’ style album from Pitbull would be very welcome, however one can understand how Pitbull’s audience has grown and diversified since so it may not be so easy to go back, or as Mr Worldwide may say ‘don’t look back’. It’s 90% business as Pitbull says and that’s how it’s successfully going and growing since. Pitbull has EVOLVED and GROWN and opened up the ears of those fans who are willing to listen, enjoy his old music but open to try something new and stick around for more and enjoy.

Bad Man is rumoured to be a single from Pitbull’s upcoming album Climate Change and will premiere at the 58th Grammy Awards show on the 15th February. Check out the photo taken by the rock star photographer himself, Greg Watermann during a rehearsal..

I’m sure there will be one hell of a video to go with this at some point and see this as a hot summer festival tune- Think we need ALL you to front Glastonbury here in the UK with this one Pitbull (feel free to get Stephen Tyler in for a remix too!)

AHOY PITBULL! FREEDOM VIDEO

If you were in two minds about joining the Pitbull Cruise next year on the Norwegian Pearl Cruise Liner, chances are you would have made up your mind to jump on board and go and have a good time after watching Pitbull's new Freedom video.

Sailing on a long-loyal ship steering through Pitbull's career since the release of his very first album - and I could be speaking for quite a few similar passengers on the journey who are aware of Pitbull history, what made me really smile is watching the kids sitting on the rocks by the ocean at the beginning comparing trainers and talking how kids do. A mini-Pitbull in his long shorts and white vest being made fun of in jest by his friends responds "One day Lil' Chico gonna be big. Imma be kicking out one of those big boats one day, you'll see!" As he points to the Norwegian Escape Cruise Ship pulling out of the Port of Miami.

In the next shot, we could say fast forward to today and we see Pitbull on the deck of the Norwegian Cruise Liner taking his Freedom and being free doing what he wants and having a good time!

The beautiful Most Bad Ones and other great ladies look stunning flying flags from USA, Cuba, Brazil, Spain, China, Australia, Bahamas (where the Pitbull Cruise 2017 will be heading)

I'm going to leave the proudest one with a shout out to Kristin for representing my country-the Union Jack flag of the UK (now just steer the boat towards us Captain Worldwide). Not only did the lovely ladies swish away on top of the deck waving the big flags in the wind but they had the bikinis to match.

As well as the obvious Norwegian Cruise Liner written in bold along with it's official logo, the video continues with more subtle and subliminal product placement and highlights how the features and facilities on board the cruise liner can be enjoyed. From the casino, dance floors to pools and spa...or go and have a good time like the flirtatious fun going on elsewhere between the mami who eventually puts her room key in the gentleman's suit pocket. (anyone seem the old Carry On Cruising show in the UK? This sounds like the classier version)

From port to starboard, the video captures that refreshing carefree and fun feeling with it's vibrant colours a 'commercial-video' video for the Norwegian Cruise Line.

Every day on the ocean is a good day too, hey Pitbull! We can get on board by joining Mr Worldwide and The Most Bad Ones on the 'After Dark Party' Pitbull Cruise. Don't forget your Party Patch!

PITBULL PLAYS NO. 305 WITH THE FULHAM FC

Having teamed up with Visit Florida last month as a partner and ambassador, Pitbull goes with the tourist board from Florida to Fulham. Always one for 'sharing and caring' Mr Worldwide spreads some sunshine into London with Visit Florida as the main sponsor of London's oldest football
Club- Fulham FC (soccer to my friends across the pond!)

Earlier Pitbull tweeted a photo of the Fulham kit with the number 305 (obviously!) on the back as a thank you to the club.

Joining up the dots for those scratching their heads at the Putney End and outside the club trying to working out what, why, how at this sponsorship could even be conceived?  Fulham FC's owner and Chairman Shahid Khan is also the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars - Florida which is also his home and so seems like a natural alliance. (See what Shahid Khan and Chief Marketing Officer of Visit Florida Paul Phipps had to say about the sponsorship deal by clicking on the link below and find out more about Fulham Football Club)

See the Visit Florida distinctive blue logo on the players home, away and third kit- whether you're freezing and supporting the home team from the Riverside, Hammersmith or Johnny Haynes Stand as a reminder to book that holiday to a warm and sunny Florida where as Pitbull says are full of 'sexy beaches! Hotels!'  There will also be presence of Visit Florida on the roof of Fulham FC's home and stadium Craven Cottage at it's Riverside Stand end as well as on the landing approach from London’s Heathrow Airport.

In a twist to Mr Worldwide's lyrics "cooler than a polar bears toenails..come play with the big (London) boys in the Premier League!"

Good luck to the Cottagers and Lilywhites on Tuesday against the Wolves!

So the question now is where to put Pitbull? Goalie? midfield, defence, forward?  (Do we need to explain the offside rule?)

PITBULL IN LONDON: 1 SHOW, 1 PLAQUE, 4.4M SALES & 2 RADIO STATIONS - DALE!

Pitbull breaks yet another record in London in an attempt to rap it for you in Mr Worldwide style "1 Show..1 Plaque...4.4m Sales & 2 Radio Stations - DALE!"

Congratulations to Pitbull presented with a plaque celebrating his 4.4m record sales in just the UK alone reportedly at the Sanderson Hotel in London. As a Londoner and huge fan along with many others here, with the understanding that It's a marathon not a sprint, I am happy Pitbull took a bit longer jogging through London on this visit!

It's especially a treat to see Pitbull spend more than 24 hours in the UK after the Capital Summertime Ball and a bonus with more radio station interest and interviews with our worldwide icon. Earlier this week fans were able to tune into Radio 1 with Scott Mills a long term Pitbull supporter and Kiss FM who were part of the Pitbull movement in 2009 in being part of the team in conjucton with Play Hard Promotions in bringing Mr 305 as he had just become known then to a show in London. Check out the great interviews below. In true FUN, witty, engaging Pitbull manner we keep on learning more about Mr Worldwide and hints about working with Ed Sheeran - how 'bout it Ed?

SENSATO DEL PATIO EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW & COMPETITION

Sensato is one of the most dynamic rappers around today. With rhymes that are so fun, fast and witty and music so catchy, it's easy to get caught and sucked into the vacuum of his infectious flow- and want to stay there!

Mr 305 Inc's SENsational SENsato is currently on his European We Ain't Even Supposed To Be Here Tour. Here in London I had the chance to catch up with fabulous Del Patio.

Be sure to stick around afterwards to be in with a chance to WIN Sensato autographed merchandise!

Without further a do, Ladies and Gentlemen...Sensato Del Patio

Welcome to London Sensato and thank you....

How has the tour been going so far?

It’s been really good. Seeing the fans from the other side of the world and to see the songs they like. To get to try and learn the languages hahaha! A great experience.

Do you have any rituals or routines in preparation for shows?

We get together as a team and do a quick run through of the show and based on the crowd I figure out what I’m going to sing.

Your music reaches different audiences- from those whose first language is Spanish, to those that speak a little, to those who speak none and are still able to enjoy your music. Did you ever anticipate that?

No I’m still surprised each time, especially when it’s the non-Dominican community. It’s crazy.

I love your lyrics they’re so fast, fun and witty – where does inspiration come from?

It comes from hip hop, Eminem and my rapping is just me…versatile

Musically who were your biggest influences growing up and the ones today?

Big Pun, Vico C and today it’s Pitbull, Lil’ Wayne and Jay Z.

How did you meet Pitbull and come to work together?

We met when I did Watagatapitusberry and he decided to do the remix and ever since he has been a mentor and has guided my career.

What is Pitbull like to work with?

Pitbull is a teacher and working with him is great because you learn a lot and he’s fun and humble. Always a good time.

You and Pit taught a lot of fans outside Santo Domingo and other parts of the world what Watagatapitusberry means..teach me another Dominican phrase!

Hahaha! There are a lot of phrases I could teach you but it’s better yet if you’re ever in DR you let me know and I’ll teach you there so you can put it to use!

I really love your overall dress sense, style and ‘senswagger!’ Particularly your bowler hat look – Do you have a collection? (Note: I have since fallen in love with his taste in shoes!)

Thank you. I don’t have a collection but I am working on one. I think what I wear just portrays who I am. I dress like this on or off the stage.

Do you have a stylist or put the look together yourself?

On a day to day basis it’s just me but for award shows I do have the help of a stylist.

Looking forward to the Bello video and seen images of the shoot of you taped up.  Can you tell us more about the video?

Bello is going to be a great video because we shot scenes in different parts - like New York and Europe.

A collaboration between you and Pit especially is always a treat for us – can we expect more songs together in the future?

Definitely. We’re always working on new stuff.

Have you done any sight seeing while you’re in London?

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see much besides the club and hotel but I’ll be back!

What’s next Sensato?

To keep working on new music, some great videos and collaborations! Stay tuned!!

Thank you Sensato, it’s been an absolute honour. Come back again! All the best for your future projects.

PITBULL ROCKS LONDON

As featured on Planetpit.com

Pitbull blew the roof off and heated the up the London O2 Brixton Academy with his unique brand of Global Warming on Saturday 3rd August. But not before an exciting build up by announcing his imminent arrival and tweeting a photo of Big Ben en route to the venue, letting his loyal Londoners know that HRH LORD WORLDWIDE is nearby and ready to get the party started.

Mr Worldwide gave a spectacular, explosive and energetic performance and drove the crowd WILD. Too wild for one young lady who threw what appeared to be her thong at Pitbull during the show. To which Pit reacted as he does with many things, with humour and gratitude and put it in his pocket!

Pitbull wowed the crowd with numbers like Bon Bon, Rain Over me, Esta Loca, International Love, Danza Kuduro and encouraged the crowd to look forward positively towards 2014 by getting down to Echa Pa'lla and commanding us to sube las manos pa'arriba and onto sube sube hasta las nubes demonstrating just how he can Shut It Down.

Pitbull '305 till I die' reminded the crowd of his beloved hometown by belting out an adapted version as 'I'm From Miami B****' earlier on in the show. Not limiting himself to just spinning around the globe at the speed of the animated Tasmanian devil, Pitbull took us for a quick spin in a time machine by taking us Back In Time with his Men In Black 3 track, a little forward on the timeline onto a vacation with Shake Senora and back in time again to Shake (mentirosa) to drive the old school Pit fans out there nuts. The one signature song that sent me back in time with an overwhelming, almost euphoric level of nostalgia was Culo. Game over! From back in time in different contexts to back to singing about meeting at the Hotel Room, Pitbull always delivers.

Being worldwide means only world-class musicians can help you raise the roof. Pitbull's band The Agents were spectacular and spot on as always. The percussions were flawless and sharp as ever, hitting those 'dance nerves' rooted deeply in your body. You could 'feel' the music and that is what it's all about. Omar Tavarez, Papayo, David Palma, Motiff and the rest of the band along with Chino all absolutely rocked the place.

This is not just any concert. This is a Pitbull concert and Worldwide tongue was just hanging out! Having been to all previous UK shows you can see just how much the concert, production and flow has evolved. On this tour London saw the introduction of Pitbull's The Most Bad Ones. The gorgeous and talented dancers, which were hard to miss. We also saw Pitbull remove his sunglasses as he gave us everything and all of him as he began to sing the obvious Give Me Everything. Perhaps he heard us wanting to see more of those beautiful eyes.

One of the many other things I personally loved was the expression on Pitbull's face as he paused to smile, inhale and absorb the cheering and appreciation of the crowd at the end of each song. You can almost see the little boy in him at times, it's so endearing. Mr Worldwide is also Mr Genre-wide and gave us more samples of different song types such as The Beastie Boys (You gotta) Fight For Your Right To Party as a clever introduction to Don't Stop The Party. We had Eye of the Tiger as an introduction to Feel This Moment and many more. It was a pleasure to hear these 'breaks and appropriate samples' amongst many others mixed within and between songs.

Pitbull talked a little about haters and not paying attention to such likes, asking the crowd what they thought that he thought of his haters. Cue an outburst of 'I Don't Care' by Icona Pop. Which was a great response and humorous diffuser. I don't care, I love it. Bring it on! I say, Pitbull, let the haters just add more fuel to your success. There is much more love from your fans than haters out there to cancel out negativity towards you. They can't touch you, we got you!

As the exciting night is over and Pitbull's car is being crazily chased down the street by girls screaming his name (and NO, it wasn't me!), it's time for Mr Worldwide to catch another flight to another country for another show.

Pitbull, you're the best. So much to say and so little time to say it. It was an absolute pleasure....Thank you. Thank you for an amazing show and we hope to see you back in London quicker than you can say "Dale!" in a camera-shot. And as the song goes 'I Hope We Meet Again ' and I can steal a few more hugs off you!

PITBULL VISITS THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND FOR CHRISTMAS!

As featured on Planetpit.com 17th December 2012

ATTENTION !

Contrary to what you may have heard about the current whereabouts of Pitbull on the globe, he is actually visiting the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace this Christmas!

With his can of Dr Pepper in tow, Pitbull is also seen hanging out with the London Girls (ahem), who also took him around South Beach some time ago. Look out for our girl Stephanie who kindly posted Pit all the way from Miami to London (sometimes you just can't get that private jet!)

Check out the pics on the link below and enjoy!

Thank you and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2013

PITBULL MAKES A 'WIRELESS' CONNECTION

As featured on Planetpit.com 10th July 2012

Sing it! " Welcome to London where it rains 'n' rains...if it ain't about the weather we complainin' 'bout the trains…..Where we got a lot of heritage and history....and the Tower Of London's full of ghosts and mystery, (hey!)...Where we love our music tireless and rock a three day festival like Wireless!..." Umm..That’s all I got folks!

The latest downpours of rain couldn't even dampen our spirits and how could it with a three day music festival like Wireless with a top dog in London town?

From Calle Ocho many years ago to Dubai just over a week ago and now in a muddy field in London's Hyde Park this weekend gone. Must you ask "Is he really Worldwide?.....Eeer YES?!"

There was a time when festivals were perceived by many as dirty and not so attractive as a venue and conjured up images of people building human pyramids in the middle of a field coated in rain and mud, associated only with a certain hardcore genre of music and definitely not an attraction to Stateside, elite, artists. My oh my, how things have changed!

Pit is always on the look out for the next new thing, clearly saw the opportunity and bit and locked into it. It may not be Glastonbury BUT it is 'appropriate' and covers a crowd that enjoys a wide range of music from one extreme to another, which is perfect for Pit as he does not want to be pinned to one music genre box anyway! In fact Mr Worldwide had recently praised the Brit's diverse taste in music and how they can listen to pretty much anything ( ....I'm proudly waving the Union Jack flag in the air at this point!)

In his trademark black suit and shades, Pit brought so much energy and excitement when he appeared onto the stage and 'Get's it started' and it was almost as if the sea of people were roaring... "We've been waiting for you Mr World Wide!!!"

Our Pit surely rocked it first at the Capital FM Ball and now Wireless and had the crowd go, well, completely nuts! Especially when Pitbull brought out Ne-Yo onto the stage and drove the audience into a frenzy with ‘Give me Everything tonight’, his first UK No1. Very appropriately in line with the typical weather conditions Pitbull also belted out Rain Over Me as well as other hits such as Hotel Room, Back In Time, Hey Baby, International Love and more.

Pitbull's band did a terrific job as did his official DJ Chino who also had Hyde Park going after wowing the crowds with an amazing set at Anaya the night before. I had the pleasure of briefly meeting him just after his set at DSTRKT a few weeks ago, well I actually collared him into taking a photo and talking to me but he's a nice fellow too, what a star...bet that up!

As I mentioned, Pitbull was also recently at the Capital FM Ball and we have been very spoilt in the UK and had Pit here twice this year. My understanding of Pit's trail of thought and interpretation of DALE is "Hmmm...D(o) A(gain), L(ovin') the E(nglish!) ". But we're a bit greedy and want a full on Mr World Wide concert only this year too please (hint-hint, nudge, wink!)

A lot of fans were very excited to see Pitbull in the UK again in such a short space of time, even the build up to the festival was too much excitement to contain. My social network updates were absolutely blown up and apart KraZy by Armando Perezfans (Facebook)/ Pitbull Fans @PlanetPitFans( Twitter) about how excited they were about seeing Pitbull, on almost a daily basis! 'Nuff Respect!

Oh Yes, listen up Jessie J! Seems like you've had a few compliments from (ahem..) a certain canine...How about a collab hey? Get your people to call his people or his people to call your people or whatever it is you people do!

At the end of the day Mr World Wide proved he doesn’t need to be plugged in to any particular genre and can go 'wireless' and still make a connection anywhere in the world, even a rainy muddy field in London!

Dale! EEEEEEEYAW!
